 Years come and go, however the memories made at TCDC remain fresh and vivid to each of us. Certain smells in the early morning, the ring of a bell in the distance, guys cheering for Cabin 5 at breakfast....okay, maybe not that one. We do, however, all have certain things that make us think back to the fun times each of us shared. Today's campers and staff don't quite appreciate what we are talking about...but they will. Check out the photo of the 1981 staff. We can truly say, these friendships could be the best ones we have ever had. |
 Our goal for the TCDC camp session is to help the campers and staff create those lifelong friendships. Going back to the TCDC traditions without sacrificing the natural progression of time is what we are trying to achieve. We want everyone excited about coming back the following year. In our research of TCDC, we have found that camp needs to be progressive, yet still remain true to our roots...have fun while learning how to live with diabetes. TCDC has taught each and every one of us to not let our disease slow us down. Most of the TCDC alumni are not known for being "quiet and subdued." |
